About Us
Our Beliefs
The Shelby School of Esthetics Foundation 501(c)(3) provides access to competency-based knowledge, artistic principles combined with hands on fundamentals associated with cosmetic arts education to members of our community who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals in the industry of beauty/barbering.
The Foundation sees cosmetic education as a catalyst, an agent of change for women, men, families, and communities. We envision a community that recognizes the importance of growth within the industry to assure positive outcome and achieve financial rewards from student to industry professional. In our community, doors will not be closed regardless of economic circumstances of those who lack resources to succeed.
To build this community, The Shelby School of foundation will: *Promote and provide financial support for cosmetic arts education; *Assure that students have the information necessary to make sound financial decisions *Lead a collaborative network of community and educational programs and partners aligned to support student preparation, transition, and persistence to completion and job placement and or business ownership mentorship.
To those who share its vision. HELP US! Help us! The Foundation offers opportunities to participate in its realization through financial and in-kind support and volunteerism.
